Terms of Use

1. Minimum age: 13

You must be at least 13 years old to use Tremi, and you confirm this at sign-up. If you are under 18, you confirm that a parent or legal guardian has reviewed and agreed to these terms. Accounts of users found to be under 13 are deleted. Anyone can report an underage account: in the app with "Report current match" and the reason "Underage", or through Support.

2. What Tremi is

Tremi's Private mode lets two people match anonymously: each enters the other's chosen ID within a limited time, and matched people can send each other "pokes". Nothing is sent to a person whose ID you enter; if they never enter yours, the attempt simply expires.

Tremi currently offers only the Private mode. Features shown as "coming soon" are not available and collect no data.

Daily limits (for example on pairing attempts and pokes) are set by our server and shown in the app. We may change the limits and add, change or remove features.

3. Your account and ID

• You need a verified email address and a password. Keep your password secret; you are responsible for activity on your account. Tell us at once if you think someone else has access to it.
• You choose a unique ID at sign-up. It cannot be changed later. Some IDs are reserved, and we may reclaim IDs that impersonate others, infringe rights or are offensive.
• One person, one account. Your account is personal and may not be sold or transferred.
• When an account is deleted, its ID is held back for 30 days and then anyone may choose it.

4. Anonymity has limits

Inside the app, your match's identity is never shown to you and yours is never shown to them. But you decide who you tell your ID to, and that person may know or guess who you are. Tremi cannot promise absolute anonymity.

5. Rules

You must not:

• harass, threaten, stalk or intimidate anyone, or use pokes to do so;
• try to find out who another user is through the service, or get around blocks;
• create accounts to get around limits or bans, or use bots, scripts or other automated tools;
• attack, overload, reverse engineer or probe the service or its security, or access data that is not yours;
• choose an ID that impersonates someone, infringes someone's rights or is unlawful or offensive;
• use Tremi if you are under 13, or break the law.

6. Safety tools and enforcement

In Settings you can disconnect your current match, block it (the pair can no longer match) or report it. We review reports; the reported person is not told who reported them. If we believe an account breaks these terms or the law, we may limit, suspend or delete it, with or without notice, and cooperate with authorities where the law requires.

7. Notifications are not guaranteed

Pokes and other notifications go through Expo, Apple and Google. Whether and when a notification arrives, and whether your phone vibrates or makes a sound, depends on your device, its settings and the network. Tremi does not promise delivery, vibration or immediate arrival, and it does not tell anyone whether a poke was delivered.

8. Internet connection

Tremi needs a working internet connection. While offline, actions such as matching and poking are disabled and are not sent later. Your mobile carrier's data charges may apply.

9. Our rights in Tremi

Tremi, its name, logo, design and software belong to us or our licensors. We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the app for its intended purpose. You may not copy, modify or distribute it except as the law allows. The app stores' terms (Apple App Store, Google Play) also apply to your download and use; Apple and Google are not responsible for Tremi or its support.

10. Ending your use

You can stop using Tremi and delete your account at any time in Settings → Delete account, or as described on the Delete account page. We may suspend or delete an account that belongs to someone under 13 or that breaks these terms, and we may discontinue the service. If we discontinue the service, we will try to tell you in advance.

11. Service "as is" and liability

Tremi is provided free of charge and "as is". We try to keep it available and secure, but we do not guarantee that it is uninterrupted, error-free or fit for a particular purpose. We are not responsible for how other users behave. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, loss of data or loss of profit. We remain liable for damage caused intentionally or by gross negligence. Nothing in these terms limits rights that you have under mandatory law, including consumer protection law.

12. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Turkey. Istanbul (Central) Courts and Enforcement Offices have jurisdiction over disputes. If you are a consumer, this does not take away your right to apply to the consumer arbitration committee or consumer court where you live, or the protection of the mandatory law of the country where you live.

13. General

If any part of these terms is found invalid, the rest stays in effect. If we do not enforce a right, we do not waive it. These terms and the Privacy Policy are the whole agreement between you and us about Tremi. If the English and Turkish versions differ, the Turkish version prevails for users in Turkey.

14. Changes

We may update these terms. We will change the date at the top of this page and, for significant changes, tell you in the app before they take effect. If you keep using Tremi after that, the new terms apply.
